About the Role
Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, Coastal Electrics is seeking a motivated and well-rounded Electrical Project Engineer to join our Rockingham-based team on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional who enjoys working across varied projects in the mining, industrial, and resource sectors. You'll be a key member of our operations team, supporting both office and site-based activities – from tender preparation through to procurement, project execution and client liaison.

Full-time employment with a salary package of $130,000 - $150,000 commensurate with experience

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with planning and delivery of works
Prepare tenders, quotes, and submission documentation
Manage procurement, logistics, and supplier engagement
Track project progress and assist with reporting, documentation, and compliance
Support both office and site-based project functions
Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
Provide technical input, risk identification, and document control across the project lifecycle
Help maintain and enhance operational systems and processes
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
Electrical trade background and/or degree in Engineering (preferred)
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar electrical project engineering or coordination role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and scopes of work
Strong time management, budgeting, and planning skills
Understanding of mining and industrial work environments
Positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
