With multiple roles on offer and huge demand for our team, we are looking for experienced Project Engineers (Civil Engineering Background with any experience in tailings being highly regarded), to assist our Tier 1 Client in WA . The roles have a range of rosters, including Mon-Fri, 8/6 and 14/9, with DIDO from Perth on offer.

The Role

The role is is for an experienced project engineer to help kickoff one of the largest new tailings dam projects in Australia.

As this is a new project a number of activities need to be co-ordinated and managed (with new processes setup). These include, site access setup, Clear and Grub, Stockpiling of topsoil and setup of clay borrow pits, drainage flow management and more.

All travel time and costs, as well as accommodation will be covered, ensuring you are not out of pocket for any expenses, alongside Prime Mining's industry leading remuneration.

About the Role

The role on offer will be dynamic with responsibilities but will include the following:

Assist in developing and managing project scopes and schedules (P6 or Projects)

Prepare cost estimates, RFQ documentation, and detailed scope of works.

Ensure alignment with engineering standards and project governance frameworks

Facilitate effective communication and coordination among project stakeholders

Work with a range of stakeholders (enviros for permiting), contractors for bulk earthworks, geotechs for design constraints, design consultants for feasibility (study ongoing).

To be considered you must meet the following criteria:

A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.

5+ years Professional Experience, with 2+ years as a project engineer with Project Management experience.

You have previous practical experience in mining projects in Australia (Any experience with Tailings Dams would be highly regarded).

Located in Perth or willing to relocate there or regionally.

Current Australian drivers licence.

Have exceptional and professional communication skills to engage and influence other personnel within the business, along with relevant technical expertise.

Have excellent time management and task prioritisation skills.
