CHEF required for a busy roadhouse restaurant in the NT.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
Develop and innovate recipes and menu items, including a range of options catering to various dietary preferences such as vegan and gluten-free choices.
Oversee the sourcing of fresh and high-quality ingredients, maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations.
Manage kitchen inventory and budget, optimizing food costs without compromising quality.
Collaborate with management to enhance customer satisfaction and streamline kitchen operations.
Train and mentor kitchen staff on culinary techniques and the restaurant’s service standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chef.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
A passion for culinary excellence and creativity.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Familiarity with food safety and handling procedures.
Culinary school diploma or equivalent culinary certification
