About the role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Collection/Admin Officer to join our team at Professional Collection Services' in Toowong, QLD. This full-time role will see you play a crucial part in our collections operations, leveraging your strong customer service and administrative skills to drive successful outcomes for our clients.
What you'll be doing
- Contacting customers by phone, email and letter to collect outstanding debts in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions and collection activities
- Providing excellent customer service and negotiating manageable payment plans
- Assisting with the preparation of reports and other administrative tasks as required
- Supporting the broader team with ad-hoc duties to ensure the smooth running of our collections operations
What we're looking for
- 1-2 years' experience in a collections or customer service role, preferably within the financial services industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities, with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite
- A positive, resilient and customer-focused attitude
