We are seeking a highly capable, hands on experienced landscaper to lead the delivery of our landscape construction projects. This is contract based with an average of 28 hour a week role, primarily on-site, ideal for a landscaper who thrives on leading and creating suburban projects for wonderful clients.

You’ll be in charge of executing creative and meaningful projects, ensuring projects run smoothly, efficiently, and to our high standards of care and craftsmanship whilst communicating effectively with the project manager, designers, suppliers and team mates.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret and implement landscape construction plans and specifications with precision.

Lead and undertake construction works directly on-site (e.g., paving, drainage, structural landscaping).

Take initiative in managing supplies, materials, tools and foreseeing any upcoming challenges and communicate to management team in advance.

Maintain worksite health and safety standards, compliance, and documentation.

Keep project tracking tools and reports up to date (time, materials, photos, notes).

Keep warehouse clean and organized whilst monitoring materials and wastage.

Work independently and solo with a small team and most importantly keep the vibes high.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Trade qualification in Landscape Construction, or equivalent (Preferred, not required)

Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in landscape construction, with site responsibilities.

Ability to confidently lead crews, manage multiple tasks, and solve problems on the fly.

Physically fit and willing to participate in landscape construction tasks daily.

Excellent organizational skills, with a strong understanding of project workflows.

Valid Driver’s License

Vehicle

Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Experience with machineries

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage client expectations with professionalism and warmth.

Preferred Attributes

Familiarity with ecological landscaping, native planting, or permaculture-based site systems.

Experience with irrigation, stonework, paving, timberwork, and site grading.

Comfortable with mobile communication and reporting tools (training provided on specifics).
