We are seeking an enthusiastic medical receptionist to join our growing practice full time or part-time (5 days a fortnight) , supporting a supportive close knit group of surgeons in Spring Hill.

Previous medical experience

Minimum of 2 years in a specialist medical practice- Preferable

Knowledge of Medicare and and Private Health Fund Billing-Preferable

Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Shexie Software experience is preferable

High level of customer service

Ability to have great organisation and time management skills.

Excellent communication skills with a professional but welcoming demeanour both face to face and over the phone.

Strong work ethic

Operate within the policies and procedures of the practice

Works well within a team or individually as required

Key Responsibilities:

Welcoming patients and managing front desk reception

Diary management of appointments and surgery bookings

Maintaining electronic patient records

Collection of fees and receipting to health funds and Medicare

Incoming phone calls as well as email management and & electronic correspondence enquiries

General administrative duties
