About the Role:
This leading government department is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant for an immediate start on a 6-month contract. Work closely with project managers, business leads, and finance teams to deliver critical financial insights and support for key IMT services, projects, and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and validate cost estimates and financial models for IMT services, including resources, MSPs, and software licences.
• Contribute to financial modelling for new projects and capabilities.
• Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving efficiency within IMT operations.
• Support business case development through cost-benefit and ROI analysis.
• Monitor budgets, forecast expenditures, and report on cost variances.
• Collaborate with teams to optimise cost structures and resource allocation.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in financial management within project-based environments.
• Expertise in financial forecasting, cost modelling, and ROI analysis.
• Strong understanding of budgeting and resource management.
• Proactive and collaborative problem solver.
• Public sector experience is highly regarded.
