We are looking for a Behaviour Support Clinician (must have an Allied Health Degree) and/or Mental Health Social Worker.

Our Clinicians work across various sites throughout metro Adelaide, including the Fleurieu, Gawler and Adelaide Hills. Each clinician is allocated to a region to prevent unnecessary travel. We are currently looking for a clinician to work primarily in the Northern Suburbs based around Salisbury. The clinician will need to come to our head office one day a week at Tonsley Innovation District, Clovelly Park. Although, this can be negotiated once the clinician feels established as a behaviour support practitioner and therapist in our team.

We are looking for driven clinicians who are able to think outside the box, with experience as a therapist/counsellor supporting people with a disability and/or mental health diagnosis. We favour candidates with demonstrated leadership and supervision experience (informal or formal arrangement).

The successful candidate will be someone who can work flexibly within changing environments, has an interest in psychotherapy (including attachment-based and trauma-informed therapeutic models of care), and has an understanding of how systems impact client outcomes.

The successful candidate will have the following:

Relevant tertiary qualifications and professional registration (Social Work/AASW, Developmental Education/DEAI, Registered Psychologist/Ahpra, Occupational Therapy/Ahpra, Master or Bachelor in Counselling or psychotherapy/PACFA/ACA etc.);

Registration as a Behaviour Support Clinician with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission or willing to undertake registration;

Experience working as a Behaviour Support Clinician and/or Mental Health Social Worker

Skills in working with people with a disability/dual diagnosis or mental health conditions;

Skills in supporting clients in complex circumstances and or with challenging behaviours;

DCSI Screening Clearances/NDIS Worker Screening Check/police check

First aid certificate;

Driver's license;

Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect-Education and Care mandatory notification training certification.

Desirable experience and certification:

Previous experience working in the mental health sector or working with people who have dual diagnosis.

Working in Aged Care and/or with older people with home care packages.
