Multiple Positions Available across Gold Coast, Brisbane, Ipswich and Sunshine Coast.

The Role

You’ll support a diverse caseload of NDIS participants across various age groups and disability presentations. Your work will involve completing functional behaviour assessments, developing evidence-based behaviour support plans, and coaching teams to implement meaningful strategies. You’ll have the flexibility to work from home, visit participants in the community, and receive travel reimbursement for all work-related travel.

Key Responsibilities

Complete functional behaviour assessments (FBA) and develop Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs)

Support participants with behaviours of concern using ethical, strengths-based frameworks

Collaborate with families, support workers, coordinators, and other allied health professionals

Ensure plans meet NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission standards

Guide providers on reducing or eliminating restrictive practices

Attend regular supervision, peer mentoring and team meetings (virtually or in person)

About You

Qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, OT, Speech Pathology, or related field essential

NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration (Core or Proficient or Advanced)

Minimum 2 years experience in Positive Behaviour Support

Strong understanding of the NDIS, restrictive practices, and evidence-based interventions

Excellent written communication and time management skills

Driver’s licence and reliable transport

Based in QLD (Brisbane, Gold Coast, Logan, Ipswich, or surrounds)
