Are you highly organised, passionate about community impact, and ready to be part of a dedicated team supporting vulnerable young people?
Chameleon Youth Housing is seeking a motivated Administrator to support our small but dynamic team. This is a rewarding part-time role (minimum 21 hours per week, with flexible scheduling across Monday to Friday) where you’ll play a key role in the daily operations of our youth accommodation service.
About Chameleon Youth Housing
Operating for over 30 years, Chameleon Youth Housing is a not-for-profit, community-based organisation providing safe, supported accommodation for young people aged 16–25 in the Redcliffe region. Our services are available 24/7 and include transitional housing for young parents experiencing homelessness, giving them the opportunity to work towards long-term independence.
About the Role
As the Administrator / Personal Assistant, you will:
Provide essential administrative support to the Manager and team.
Coordinate meetings, prepare documentation, and assist with reporting and grant submissions.
Manage social media communications and assist with organisational promotions.
Support financial and grant acquittal processes, contributing to the growth and sustainability of our service.
About You
You’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced, values-driven environment. You are confident using Microsoft 365, enjoy keeping things organised, and understand the importance of discretion, professionalism, and teamwork. You bring:
At least 2 years' administration experience, ideally in the not-for-profit or community sector.
Strong computer and communication skills.
Experience (or interest) in assisting with funding submissions and social media management.
A proactive, flexible approach and a genuine passion for helping young people thrive.
What You’ll Need
Minimum Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent.
Current Blue Card (working with children check).
Current QLD ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
Full rights to work in Australia.
