We’re currently seeking an experienced Project & Site Engineer to join a highly regarded civil contractor working on a Defence infrastructure project in Townsville. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a long-term program of works, focused on delivering complex civil upgrades and new infrastructure across roads, stormwater, drainage, and general earthworks.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the Project Manager in the delivery of key civil packages in accordance with scope, time, and cost requirements
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and internal crews to ensure safe and efficient execution of works
• Monitoring project schedules, budgets, and progress reporting
• Ensuring compliance with Defence project specifications, quality assurance, and HSEQ protocols
• Driving continuous improvement across field engineering, planning, and construction methodologies
• Liaising with stakeholders, consultants, and clients as required

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2–4 years’ experience on civil infrastructure projectsStrong understanding of bulk earthworks, drainage, roadworks, and service installation
• Excellent coordination, problem solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work within structured quality and safety frameworks
• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident due to Defence clearance requirements
