Responsible for water and/or sewage treatment plants across Australia

Designing operation & maintenance processes and protocols

Work on existing ongoing contracts, gain experience, travel to regional and remote places around Australia.

Fulltime Work – Essential Work Fixed Term Employment

$50-52/hour + 11.5% super + penalty rates for overtime and call out + Leave entitlements + Travel and accommodation paid + vehicle on the job.

This Relief water and wastewater Treatment Plant coordinator role will provide the successful candidate with a variety of responsibilities and tasks that will keep them fully engaged. From Supervision of the treatment team in their daily roles, enabling the provision of a safe, quality water supply to the community to ensure the efficient production and treatment of potable water to conform to Australian Water Drinking Guidelines 2011 (ADWG) and the best practice License conditions are met. and capable to perform plumbing inspections.

In addition to extensive proven experience as a Water and/or Wastewater Plant Coordinator, you will need to possess the following attributes that we believe will position you to be a successful high performer in this role:

Love being practical and really enjoy knowing how things work

Enjoy analysing technical data and researching topics of interest

Have the ability to take complex information and successfully communicate it to a wide range of stakeholders

Can analyse numbers and data with ease, you readily see mistakes in data sets

Work at a brisk pace and respond well to demands on your time

You don’t necessarily enjoy confronting others but you will if absolutely required

You are more an active listener than an active talker

If there is a problem you usually work out an innovative solution

Generally anticipate potential adverse issues before they happen

Your friends would say you are a timely decision maker using intuition & objective data

You can be like a dog-with-a-bone and dig your heals in when required
