McArthur Community Care is a Registered NDIS Provider in Victoria. We specialise in delivering individualised and flexible supports through a holistic and person-centred approach to maintain independence and social connection with the community. The Role

We are seeking qualified, professional and passionate Disability Support Workers who have more than 12 months experience in working with people with high intensity needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing personal care
• Domestic assistance
• Mealtime management
• Community support
• Ideally you will have experience supporting individuals with a PEG tube or prepared to up skill with free training (provided by McArthur) to assist with PEG-related care.

Successful Candidates

The successful candidate will need to be reliable, caring, compassionate and flexible and must have:

• At least 12 months industry experience working with multiple participants
• Hold a relevant Certificate or qualification
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
• Current Manual Handling Certificate
• Reliable vehicle and valid Driver's License
• Comprehensive car insurance if transporting participants

The Team

Our Community Care Team will offer you your own dedicated Service Coordinator to provide support and ongoing 1:1 supervision. We also offer 24/7 support from our dedicated after-hours team and hotline.
