The Opportunity

Packard Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team in Forrestdale, WA. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for the modification, repair and maintenance of a range of vehicles, ensuring they are functioning safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Perform vehicle modifications in particular suspension and 4WD related modifications

Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components

Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections

Test and operate vehicles to ensure proper functioning after repairs

Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used

What We're Looking For

Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification

Minimum 2 years' experience as an Automotive Mechanic in a busy workshop environment

Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle makes and models

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients

A valid driver's licence
