About the role

As a Mechanic at Your Auto Service, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles. This full-time, on-site role is based in Cockburn Central, WA 6164, and will involve using your expertise to keep our customers' vehicles running smoothly and safely.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues with a range of vehicle makes and models
• Performing scheduled maintenance and service checks
• Replacing worn or faulty parts and components
• Advising customers on the condition of their vehicles and recommended actions
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work completed
• Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
• Collaborating with the wider team to ensure efficient operations

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in automotive mechanics, such as a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Proven experience as a Mechanic, ideally within the automotive industry
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
• Good communication skills to liaise with customers
• A keen interest in staying up-to-date with industry developments and new technologies
• A reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious approach
