St Catherine’s College has two residential colleges accommodating over 800 students on UWA and Curtin campuses. We also offer short term/hotel style accommodation of self-contained apartments (only at UWA Campus).

St Catherine’s College, Crawley is just minutes away from Kings Park, Hollywood Private Hospital, QEII Medical Centre, Perth Children’s Hospital and Matilda Bay.

We are looking for multiple service-oriented, housekeeping staff with some events experience in hospitality industry. This role will be based at UWA Campus in Crawley with occasional shifts at Curtin.

The duties of the Casual Housekeeping staff include:

Provide professional daily cleaning to resident rooms in a timely manner,

Assist with providing daily housekeeping service to our hotel style rooms in one wing of the college,

Work with colleagues to maintain common/public areas clean and tidy to reflect high St Catherine's standards,

Work with colleagues to maintain back of house areas clean and tidy to reflect high St Catherine's standards,

Assist with set up of high-profile student events organized for all residents,

Assist with set up & provide service for external clients hosting conferences at the College,

Assist with other job-related tasks under guidance of House Manager & Executive Housekeeper,

All essential training will be provided to ensure work is conducted in safe & efficient manner.

To be successful in the role you will have:

A proven background or willingness to learn various aspects of housekeeping & events duties,

Ability of perform daily manual handling tasks safely with ease and confidence,

High proficiency in spoken and written English,

Exceptional customer relations skills and attention to detail,

A responsible attitude towards the adherence to all Occupational Health and Safety obligations,

Ability to work as part of a team, show initiative,

Punctuality and good time management skills,

Self-motivated, honest and flexible, with a professional work ethic.
