With machines ranging from 15 tonne to 120 tonne the business is focused on working on major Teir 1 projects. From major pipelines, Demolition breakdowns, Civil & large road projects, Mining works and Land clearing for large real estate projects. At any one time this rental business can be working on over 140 projects, and they can also offer the full suite of machinery to any project in Australia.
Job Opportunity –
The National Service & Maintenance Coordinator will work in conjunction with the National Operations Manager to maintain and oversee the day-to-day management of the Rent Fleet across all aspects from Service, Repair & Maintenance Documentation & History to Movements, Location & Availability.
· Complete the Service Job process from start through to completion for the Rental Fleet including but not limited to the:
· Raising Service Jobs & Purchase Order as accurately as possible as and when required.
· Ensure the receipting of purchase orders is completed as efficiently as possible.
· Process Posting of relevant Service Jobs once external documentation has been received and either receipted or posted and all details of the work performed have been updated on the Service Job including the attachment of service sheets, inspection forms etc.
· Complete a regular review of outstanding service jobs and purchase orders by liaising with suppliers regarding these aged items to ensure they are up to date i.e., chasing up missing invoices OR cancelling jobs and PO’s if they are no longer relevant.
· Manage the raising of direct purchase orders for floats and cross hire arrangements.
· Control, manage and update the maintenance planner / schedule service
· Liaising with suppliers and customers to book services in and issue purchases orders as required so as not to affect customer productivity.
· Maintain effective communication with the National Operations Manager about the status of services – scheduled or overdue etc.
· Monthly update of the plant expenses on the JV Reconciliation, recording invoiced costs that have not been charged so that balances can be recouped from customers.
· Assisting the sales team with various tasks to ensure stock availability and plant location data is up to date, including assistance with:
· The compilation of the Stock Equipment Report by ensuring up to date service, stand-down and damaged information is passed on efficiently.
· Accessing OEM data as and when required for movement information and meter readings if necessary.
· Manage the status of on-charges ensuring they are raised and finalized in a timely manner so that they can be issued by the sales team efficiently and effectively.
· Complete regular updates of required reports so that service jobs can be posted in a timely manner and that management have sufficient knowledge to make informed decisions regarding fleet management and expenditure. Reports consist of but are not limited to:
· Open Job Card Report
· Purchase Order Status Report
Candidate Requirements –
· 5 + Years in Service Coordinator or related role
· Excellent mechanical aptitude with clear understanding of mobile machinery.
· Strong understanding of commercial environment and business opportunities/threats.
· Balance long term benefits against short term costs.
· Provide clear communication throughout the entire process
· Strive to be a leader within the business
Salary package –
On offer is lucrative earning potential that can see you work your way through the ranks of the business operation. There is also a possibility of working from home once you have the role completed and you’re 100% self-managed. With new Offices getting built in the Southeastern side of Melbourne we would ideally like to attract candidates that live in the Eastern Suburbs.
· Base Salary - $115,000 to $120,000
· Superannuation – 11.5%
