An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced conveyancer to step into a full-time in-house role with a property-focused business based in Melbourne. You'll work closely with a collaborative legal and commercial team, managing a steady flow of property transactions from instruction to settlement across land development and commercial built form assets. This is a hands-on role with scope to take ownership of matters, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and contribute to the smooth delivery of a growing pipeline of property deals.

Responsibilities:

· Manage day-to-day conveyancing files from instruction through to settlement

· Liaise with clients, banks, real estate agents, and other legal representatives to coordinate transactions

· Draft and prepare contracts of sale, vendor statements, transfer documents, letters, etc

· Conduct property and title searches using online platforms

· Calculate settlement figures and coordinate booking with all parties involved

· Handle electronic settlements through PEXA

· Use LEAP to manage files and workflow efficiently

· Answer phone and email enquiries related to conveyancing matters

· Perform conveyancing-related administrative tasks as required

· Operate and maintain trust receipt records

· Use Microsoft Excel for file tracking, calculations, and documentation

About you:

· 8+ years’ conveyancing experience (in-house or private practice)

· Sound understanding of Victorian property law and conveyancing procedures

· Proficient in PEXA and LEAP

· Highly organised with strong attention to detail

· Clear and professional communication skills

· Ability to manage files autonomously and meet deadlines

· Confident using Excel and maintaining trust-related records
