LEAD Conveyancing
Posted 11 days ago
We’re not just moving properties. We’re moving lives
At LEAD Conveyancing, we believe conveyancing is more than transactions, it’s trust. As a rapidly growing, people-first law firm, we’re on a mission to elevate the client experience through care, clarity, and leadership in every interaction. We deliver consistent outcomes by combining intuitive systems with exceptional client service. And we don’t just serve—we coach, empower, and protect our clients through every step.
We’re looking for a Property Lawyer who can lead from the front, someone who thrives with autonomy, takes ownership of their matters, and uplifts the team through proactive support, smart solutions, and steady execution. This is a role for someone who balances file carriage and billing performance with team guidance and practical wisdom.
What We Offer
An onsite-first environment that supports collaboration, focus, and mentorship, with flexibility to work remotely when needed
A firm-issued laptop and secure remote access tools to ensure seamless digital work
A competitive salary package tailored to your experience, plus performance-based bonuses
A culture where your career growth is taken seriously, with clear opportunities to step up, take ownership, and move forward
Structured training programs and a supportive onboarding experience to set you up for success from day one
A team of experienced lawyers and leaders who are genuinely willing to mentor and share knowledge, especially with newly admitted practitioners
An environment where we work with you to build confidence, capability, and clarity in your role, because your success is our success
Access to strong internal systems, clear templates, and a values-led operational framework that makes delivering great work easier
What You’ll Do
As a trusted member of our legal team, you'll do more than manage files, you’ll be part of shaping how modern conveyancing is delivered.
You’ll:
Run your own portfolio of conveyancing files from start to finish with autonomy and accountability
Provide practical, outcome-focused legal advice that aligns with the client's goals and timelines
Offer guidance and supervision to paralegals and support staff, especially when navigating non-standard matters
Respond proactively to client and stakeholder needs, including escalations, even when the matter isn’t yours, because we operate as one team
Lead by example in developing and refining customer service practices, communication templates, and internal workflows to enhance both efficiency and client satisfaction
Balance billing expectations and file ownership with the responsibility of supervising others and contributing to overall team success
Take initiative to research, self-learn, and problem-solve, staying ahead of legislation and industry best practices to ensure excellence across your matters
Champion a collaborative, no-blame culture where everyone contributes to a smooth and supportive client experience
About You
You’re not just technically competent, you’re emotionally intelligent, digitally fluent, and determined to deliver excellence. You’re the kind of lawyer who clients trust and colleagues turn to.
You’re confident, coachable, and focused on growth. Whether you're still building experience or stepping into a more senior role, what matters most is your mindset and approach.
You’ll likely have:
A current practising certificate and at least 2+ year PQE in property law or conveyancing
Experience managing matters with growing independence (support is available for more complex files)
A proactive approach to problem-solving, learning, and client care – always thinking two steps ahead
Clear and confident communication whether in writing, over the phone or in person; giving advice that is both practical and solutions-oriented
Confidence in using digital systems (training provided) and communicating clearly via phone and email
A team-first attitude, you step up for clients and colleagues alike
A willingness to evolve, lead when needed, and contribute to making things better
(For more experienced lawyers) a readiness to supervise and mentor junior team members and help refine firm processes
(For more experienced lawyers) the preparedness to help improve processes and legal precedents of the firm
What It’s Like to Work With Us
We’re professional without being rigid. High performing without burning out. We empower every team member to bring their best, and support each other to keep getting better.
Our Legal Director lives by the quote:
“Train people well enough so they can leave, treat them well enough so they don't want to.” – Sir Richard Branson
And it’s more than words—it’s how we lead. You’ll be coached, challenged, supported, and set up for long-term success. Whether you're just building your foundation or stepping into more senior responsibilities, you’ll never feel like you're doing it alone.
You’ll know what’s expected of you. You’ll get the tools and training to thrive; and you’ll be part of a team that celebrates growth, together.
