About the role

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef/Baker to join our talented team at MIXT' in Thornbury, Victoria. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries, breads and other baked goods to delight our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills and passion for pastry within a dynamic and growing company.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and bake a variety of pastries such as cookies, brownies, sticky date pudding, lamington

Ensure consistently excellent presentation and flavour profiles for all baked items

Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new and innovative pastry and bakery offerings

Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in the production area

Assist with inventory management and ordering of baking supplies

Share your expertise and provide guidance to junior bakers as needed

What we're looking for

Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Passion for creating delicious and visually appealing baked goods
