About the role

Tallangatta Bakery is seeking an experienced Baker to join our team on a full or part-time basis on our afternoon shift. No need to work overnight. As a Baker, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality baked goods, ensuring our bakery continues to deliver exceptional products to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and bake a wide variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and production schedules

Maintain production equipment and work areas in a clean and organised manner

Comply with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations

Assist with inventory management and ordering of necessary ingredients and supplies

What we're looking for

Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Baker in a commercial bakery environment

Formal training or qualification in baking, such as a Certificate III in Baking (or willingness to complete an apprenticeship)

Strong practical baking skills and knowledge of various baking techniques

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes accurately

Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to learn
