About the role

Warners Bay Hotel is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our vibrant team. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in the day-to-day operations of our thriving hotel in Warners Bay, NSW. This would suit an experienced hospitality professional or bar person eager to take the next step into management.

What you'll be doing

Oversee and coordinate the work of front desk, and food and beverage staff to deliver excellent customer service

Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and complaints in a professional and timely manner

Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management

Support the General Manager in implementing business strategies and achieving key performance targets

Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and systems to enhance hotel operations

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations

What we're looking for

Strong understanding of hotel operations, including front desk, and food and beverage management

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints effectively

Sound knowledge of relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations

Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills

Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Proficient in using hotel management software and technology

Flexibility around working nights and weekends
