About the role:

Contribute to a well-designed product by being a detail-oriented Draftsperson. By designing our products and ensuring they meet all compliance requirements, Australian Design Rules and standards, you will grow with the organisation and drive continuous improvements across our product range. The successful candidate will work closely with our engineering and production teams to produce accurate technical drawings.

Key responsibilities:

· Create drawings, 2D, 3D models, for layouts and various supplemental drawing items such as furniture, walls and roofing.

· Create and manager bill of materials (BOM) for every RV model/layout

· Ensure all aspects of design comply with Australian Design Rules (ADR’s), industry standards and regulations

· Ensure all plans, drawings and CNC files are produced and sent in line with scheduling requirements

· Drive continuous improvement in design by updating plans/drawings based on feedback from customers and dealers

· Liaise with production team members to improve productivity from a design perspective

· Assist dealers, sales staff and customers with design and layout changes and customisation

Skills and experience:

· At least 2 years experience with AutoCAD

· Bachelor's degree in industrial design, mechanical engineering, or a related field

· Strong Microsoft Office proficiency

· Strong attention to detail

· In-depth understanding of caravan manufacturing

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills
