Architectural Documenter to assist with delivering a wide range of residential projects from concept to completion. Working on projects across all stages of the process the ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of skills and be able deliver drawings to a high standard. You will be working closely with the Director to deliver these projects and be involved in all aspects. The role would suit a highly motivated individual wishing to further progress their career and knowledge of the architectural industry.

We are seeking someone with 4 years minimum local experience that can work autonomously but also follow direction as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• The preparation of design concepts and relevant documentation in support of various residential projects;

• Preparation of detailed documentation for the use of consultants and stakeholders;

• Coordinating/project managing consultants to ensure timely and positive project outcomes;

• Assisting client management with the successful delivery of projects;

• Town Planning Documentation, Building Permit Documentation, Assist with liaising with Authorities, Concept visualisation for client and council purpose.

To be successful in the role you will need:

• A relevant tertiary Australian qualification in Architectural Documentation or Architecture or similar;

• A minimum of 4 years local experience as an Architectural Draftsperson / Architectural Graduate in private industry;

• Ability to prepare clear and concise documentation;

• Proven capacity for conceptual thinking with an eye for detail and strong task focus;

• A high level of professionalism and technical understanding when dealing with all relevant stakeholders;

• Excellent verbal communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills;

• Proficient ability to use AutoCAD (experience essential);

• Basic ability to use Sketch up;

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office & Adobe Suite;

• Demonstrated experience residential documentation and custom design;

• Project management, problem solving and project delivery skills; and
