Exciting food destination Ruben’s Deli is looking for a talented, modern and inspired pastry chef to join its team

Ruben’s is an upmarket, beautiful store befitting fashionable High St and one of Melbourne’s most exclusive suburbs, Armadale.

We've quickly become known for our cool made to order sandwiches, signature cookies and babkas, delicious cakes, and house smoked hot meats and New York style fish display.The emphasis is on fresh, high-quality food, desserts and rock-star catering.

We’re looking for a senior pastry chef to help Ruben's go from strength to strength and grow our range.

Ideally you will have experience in a busy, high-end kitchen, restaurant or fabulous bakery. Dough and bread work would be a bonus. An understanding of NY style desserts, current food trends and modern approach to baking is what we're after.
