Sydney Animal Hospitals in Kellyville is looking for a compassionate, self-motivated, experienced Veterinarian nurse who prides themselves on exceptional patient care and customer service to join our fantastic team.

Our purpose-built facility is located in Northwest Sydney 45 minutes from the Sydney CBD. Locally owned & operated.

Some may say our boss likes new gadgets that’s why we are exceptionally well equipped with a full idexx laboratory suite, extensive surgical and orthopaedic equipment. High end IM3 unit with radiology. Our imaging equipment includes a brand new 16 slice GE CT imaging, CR digital radiology and an ultrasound machine.

Essential criteria:

Excellent communication skills

Likes to have fun!

Is punctual, reliable and committed to shifts

Ideally has a minimum 2 year paid veterinary nursing experience (Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing)

An ability to work largely unsupervised

Enjoy the challenge of working in a fast pace, busy environment and multitasking

An interest and competency in medical nursing including placing intravenous catheters and collecting blood samples….. but we also have a team that love to teach and can help you!

An ability and sound understanding in the use of equipment including the in-house IDEXX machines, digital radiology and iM3 dental unit

Working Hours:

Nursing shifts are 10hours

Shift times vary from 7am-5pm, 9am-7pm, 10am-8pm and 11am-9pm.

Our nursing team will have access to all job roles – medical, surgery, consultation nurse and reception.

We are open Saturdays and Sundays 8am – 6pm – the successful candidate will be required to work a portion of these shifts.
