We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join our dynamic perioperative team as a Scrub/Scout. While full-time is preferred, part-time arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.

Essential Criteria

Current Enrolled Nurse registration with AHPRA

Minimum of 2–3 years' experience as a Scrub/Scout EN in a perioperative setting

Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following surgical specialties: Orthopaedics, Urology, Dental, ENT, Laparoscopic, Plastics, Gynaecology, and General Surgery (highly regarded)

Proven ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team

Sound knowledge of relevant clinical guidelines, regulations, and standards

Understanding and compliance with ACORN and NSQHS (National Safety and Quality Health Service) Standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage respectfully and effectively with patients, families, and colleagues

Desirable Criteria

Experience with digital perioperative systems or electronic medical records

Evidence of continued professional development relevant to perioperative nursing

Commitment to patient safety and continuous quality improvement
