About the role

Redlands Mazda is seeking an experienced Automotive Finance and Insurance Manager to join our team in Capalaba, Queensland. This full-time role is responsible for leading our finance and insurance operations, ensuring seamless customer experiences and maximising revenue opportunities. As the Finance and Insurance Manager, you will be a key member of our sales leadership team, driving the strategy and performance of this critical business function.

What you'll be doing

Manage the finance and insurance team, providing coaching, training and mentorship to drive high performance

Develop and implement finance and insurance sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly and annual targets

Liaise with financial institutions and insurance providers to negotiate favourable terms and access the best products for our customers

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices

Monitor team and individual performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing remedial actions

Foster a customer-centric culture, ensuring exceptional service and positive customer experiences

Collaborate cross-functionally with the sales team to deliver integrated customer solutions

What we're looking for

Extensive experience (5+ years) in automotive finance and insurance management, with a proven track record of driving sales and performance

Strong understanding of the regulatory environment and compliance requirements in the automotive finance and insurance industry

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with customers, financial institutions and insurance providers

Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team

Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to make data-driven decisions

Relevant qualifications in finance, business or a related field are highly desirable
