Your new role

As a part of your role, you will be completing a range of duties (but not limited to):

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the mechanical division, ensuring all services are performed efficiently and to high standards.
• Leading and supervising a team of mechanics, auto electricians, and support staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensuring excellent customer service, handling customer enquiries and complaints, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
• Implementing and monitoring quality control procedures to ensure all mechanical work meets safety and compliance standards.
• Overseeing the procurement and inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensuring all operations comply with industry regulations and safety standards, including maintaining the status as an authorised Compliance Inspection Station for mining vehicles.
• Developing and implementing strategies to improve service offerings, expand the business, and increase market share.

What you'll need to succeed

• Trade Qualified - Mechanical
• Minimum 15 years of experience within your trade
• Proven leadership and management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Team collaboration skills to support team and new employees
• Safety-conscious with great attention to detail
• Computer-literate
• Contactable references
