The Role

We’re on the lookout for a Senior Accountant with extensive experience in public practice. You’ll be trusted to manage a portfolio of clients with autonomy, accuracy, and professionalism. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently but appreciates being part of a down-to-earth team.

Key Responsibilities

· Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals

· Managing client communications and offering proactive tax planning advice

· BAS/IAS and compliance reporting

· Reviewing junior staff work (if applicable)

· Working closely with the Partners to ensure top-tier service delivery

What We Are Looking For

· Minimum 5+ years’ experience in an Australian accounting firm

· Ability to manage a client base with minimal supervision

· Solid understanding of Australian tax law and compliance requirements

· Experience with MYOB, Xero or similar platforms

· Professional yet approachable manner

· CA/CPA qualifies or near-completion
