The Opportunity – Senior Accountant (Business Services/ Advisory)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing financial statements and tax returns across companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
• Completing BAS/IAS lodgements and assisting with compliance reviews
• Part of advisory work (training provided\)
• Supporting preparation of cashflows, management reports, and forecasts
• Participating in tax planning and year-end compliance reviews
• Collaborating with seniors and managers on client queries and solutions
• Exploring process improvements and contributing to workflow optimisation
• Building advisory skills and identifying opportunities to add value
• Participating in training and knowledge-sharing sessions
• (Optional) Exposure to SMSFs, depending on your interests

What You’ll Bring

• 3–5 years’ experience in a public practice/business services environment
• CA/CPA studies underway (full support provided)
• Confidence using cloud accounting platforms like Xero or MYOB
• Curious mindset and a strong desire to develop your advisory skills
• Great attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines
• Strong communicator and team player who enjoys working with others
