The Role
We’re looking for a People & Culture Coordinator to join our small, smart, and fast-moving team. You’ll be working alongside our current P&C Coordinator and reporting to our GM, People & Culture. Your focus? Helping us stay on top of the essentials while scaling up the way we support, recruit, and care for our growing team across four states.
This role has a strong focus on recruitment coordination (think interviews, offers, onboarding, and systems) but you’ll also dip into other areas of HR and get real exposure to build your generalist skills.

About Us
We’re an NDIS registered behaviour support provider that works across 4 states. The People & Culture team is small (there are just two of us right now), but we punch well above our weight. We’re practical, values-led, and not afraid to build the plane while flying it, but we do it with integrity, structure, and a lot of care.
You’ll be supported to learn, contribute, and grow through training, but by working closely with people who genuinely enjoy what they do and want you to thrive too.
Things you will do (no 2 days are the same!):
• Coordinating recruitment activities end-to-end, including scheduling, documentation, and candidate care
• Triaging our people & culture inbox
• Drafting letters and contracts with a high level of attention to detail.
• Supporting onboarding and new starter experiences
• Maintaining HR metrics via our HRIS system and team drive
• Responding to internal queries and offering warm, clear support
• Keeping on top of compliance administration and reporting
• Lending a hand with team projects, surveys, and culture initiatives
You’ll thrive in this role if you…
• Have some experience in HR or recruitment (or are confident you’re ready for it)
• Are sharp with detail - contracts, dates, systems, formatting
• Can write well and communicate clearly with different people
• Take initiative and enjoy solving problems without waiting to be told what to do
• Have strong organisation skills and can juggle tasks calmly and reliably
• Are thoughtful with boundaries, confidential matters, and sensitive situations
• Genuinely like people and want to build a career that supports them
Bonus points if you…
• Understand Fair Work legislation and/or have worked with modern awards
• Have worked remotely before and enjoy working autonomously with good support
• Are interested in HR systems, templates, and process improvements
