About the role

As a Disability House Coordinator at Value Residential Support Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently and participate actively in their community. This is a full-time position based in Gold Coast, Queensland, where you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the residential home environment and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to our clients.

What you'll be doing

Manage the day-to-day operations of the residential home, including facilitating buddy shifts, budgeting and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment

Develop and implement individualised support plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each client

Coordinate and facilitate a range of activities and programs to promote the social, emotional, and physical well-being of clients

Foster positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and supportive approach

Monitor and report on client progress, ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services

Provide supervision, mentoring, and support to a team of support workers to ensure the delivery of high-quality care

What we're looking for

Relevant tertiary qualification in a field such as disability support, social work, or community services

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a demonstrated track record of supporting individuals with disabilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing circumstances

Thorough understanding of the NDIS and relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in the disability support sector

NDIS Worker Screening Clearance is required before starting.

Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
