The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced permanent full-time Civil or Structural Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, testing, and implementing trench safety and propping solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise and collaborate with both clients and internal teams to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective solutions across diverse civil projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop trench safety and propping systems in line with Australian Standards (AS 4744, AS 1657, etc.).
• Conduct site visits, assess project requirements, and collaborate with clients to deliver tailored engineering solutions for temporary works situations.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Provide technical support to the sales and operations teams.
• Assist with product testing, certifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

What We’re Looking For

• Advanced Diploma or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering or other related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering, ideally with a focus on temporary works solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and industry related documentation relevant to temporary works solutions.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with site assessments and safety-focused engineering is a plus.
