We are looking for a full-time Civil Engineer to join our Brisbane team.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Optimisation:

Lead and apply design optimisation techniques to civil engineering projects, focusing on improving the efficiency, durability, and cost-effectiveness of both structural and non-structural elements. This includes working on Selection Steel products (e.g., UniCote® and UniZinc™) to ensure superior performance in various environmental conditions.

Cost & Resource Management:

Collaborate with the team to accurately estimate project costs and resources, identifying opportunities for cost savings and optimising resource usage during both design and construction phases.

Quality & Compliance:

Ensure that all designs and project modifications comply with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards. Maintain accurate Quality Assurance (QA) documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).

Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to implement design changes and optimisation strategies, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Risk & Documentation:

Conduct project risk assessments to identify constructability issues and maintain up-to-date documentation, including design modifications, reports, and quality control records.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Proven experience in Civil Engineering with a focus on design optimisation.

Strong knowledge of Civil Engineering design principles, construction techniques, and optimisation strategies.

Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.

Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
