Little Picassos run Art classes in our vibrant, purpose-built studio spaces dedicated to nurturing creativity, imagination, and artistic confidence in children and teens aged 2 to 17. Our award-winning programs are designed to inspire young artists through age-appropriate techniques, mediums, and projects that combine fun, education, and artistic exploration.

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and passionate Art Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team. You will deliver our carefully developed, award-winning curriculum in a warm, supportive, and engaging environment. This is a hands-on teaching role ideal for someone who thrives in a creative setting and genuinely loves working with children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver structured art classes for children aged 2–17, following our award-winning programs

Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing studio environment where children feel encouraged and inspired

Adapt lessons to suit different age groups, skill levels, and learning styles

Experience in working with a variety of art materials and processes including drawing, painting, printmaking, construction, clay and ceramics is a plus.

Offer guidance and support during creative projects while promoting artistic expression

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe studio environment

Build positive relationships with students and their families

Participate in special events, exhibitions, and holiday workshops as needed

What We’re Looking For

Experience teaching or working with children (ages 2–17) in an educational or creative setting

A background in Visual Arts, Art Education, Education or a related creative field

Warm, engaging communication skills with the ability to connect with children and parents alike

Strong classroom management and organizational skills

Passion for visual arts and a belief in the value of creativity in childhood development

Flexibility to work weekday afternoons, weekends, and school holidays as required

Current Working with Children Check and current first aide certificate
