Project Manager – HV Substations (Contract)
9-Month Contract | Sydney | Day Rate

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-voltage substation project for one of our Tier 1 clients.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle from bid and planning through to execution and closeout. Projects typically range from 33kV to 330kV, with 132kV being most common.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-voltage substation projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Lead all phases of the project, including procurement, scheduling, and reporting.

Act as the primary point of contact for the client.

Coordinate internal teams and subcontractors across multiple disciplines.

Monitor project cost and schedule performance.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Support the Construction Manager in resolving technical and delivery issues.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.

Proven experience delivering 132kV+ substation projects in Australia.

Strong understanding of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Experience managing teams and subcontractors on complex infrastructure works.

Ability to manage budgets and report project performance clearly.

9-month contract

Sydney-based with some site travel

Day rate offered, aligned with experience
