An established and highly regarded Not-for Profit organisation seeking a Locum Team Leader to join a team of skilled and dedicated staff who deliver crucial support services to vulnerable people experiencing family violence in the community.

About the role

Reporting to and with the support of the Manager, you will be providing team leadership and practice supervision to a small team of support workers and case managers, responsibilities will include:

Operational people and performance management.

Coaching, mentoring and supervision of staff.

Participate in roster coordination, recruitment and selection process.

Foster and nurture internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Delivery of crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, case management and advocacy services to a small case load of complex clients.

About you

The ideal candidate is compassionate and collaborative and understands specialist family violence services with leadership experience, to be considered for this role you:

Must hold a Bachelor degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or equivalent or meet the Rec 209 requirement for family violence specialists.

Demonstrate specialist family violence knowledge through sector work experience.

Leadership and supervision experience is essential.

Experience delivering Reflective Practice Supervision will be highly regarded.
