As part of this mission, we are growing our legal business - Bare Law - which has quickly become one of Australia's largest (and most awarded) Estate Administration law firms.

We're looking for a legal receptionist to join a thriving team in a full-time, hybrid work-from-home role.

You’ll need to be empathetic, but also confident in leading conversations, building trust quickly, and guiding families toward choosing Bare Law. The families we speak to are often overwhelmed — your ability to clearly communicate our offering, uncover their needs, and provide the right recommendation is what sets us apart.

So what is the role, exactly?

We're looking for an outgoing, empathetic and passionate communicator to join our Bare Law team. Bare Law's receptionist is front-and-center in creating amazing customer experiences for families who are going through one of the hardest times in their lives. It’s no stretch to say it’s one of the most important roles in the company.

In this role you’ll be phone-based, taking calls from families who are looking for support in seeking legal support throughout the estate administration process. You’ll show empathy, taking the time to let them know you genuinely care, and then support them by talking about what Bare Law does (and what we don’t do) and then offering recommendations based on their circumstances.

This role is a hybrid of care and sales. On the care side, our families are going through a traumatic time - our role is to be there for them. On the sales side, we can't support families (with best-in-class care) unless they choose Bare. Our EOL concierges need to play both these roles.

That makes sense, but what would my day to day look like?

In this role, you will:

Act as a trusted guide for families, educating them on Bare Law’s services and how we can support them.

Drive sales outcomes by converting inbound leads into customers through empathetic, value-driven conversations.

Tailor your approach to each conversation, recommending the right services based on individual needs and circumstances.

Balance compassion with commercial acumen — you’re helping people in crisis, but also helping them make a decision.

Work closely with the broader legal team to complete informative outbound calls and communication to existing clients to ensure a seamless customer journey.

Provide administrative assistance to the broader legal team including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence.

Provide in office administrative assistance to the broader legal team including the preparation of court documents and correspondence from our office

Our office is located on Queen Street in the CBD. This is a hybrid role - we're office based 2-3 days per week, and work from home 2-3 days per week. There is flexibility over which days are work from home, and can be adjusted week to week.

You need:

have 2+ years of previous relevant admin experience

a genuine love of talking to, and helping, people from all walks of life

the ability to work in a fast-paced environment (we get a lot of calls)

very comfortable working with technology and following processes

be comfortable making outbound calls to potential and existing clients

be comfortable supporting a growing legal team with varying legal administrative tasks.

have a high level of attention to detail

be excited about working work in a fast growing company

have true desire and willingness to go the extra mile for our clients
