Posted 17 hours ago
Fremantle Ports’ refreshed 2027 Strategic Plan marks an exciting new chapter for one of Australia’s most successful ports. Building on decades of expertise, we’re setting a bold vision for the future — and we need an experienced, values-driven Executive Assistant to help make it happen.
You’ll provide trusted, high-level, and confidential support to two key members of our Executive Leadership Team: General Manager Assets & Services and General Manager Commercial & Customer.
If you’re passionate about making a difference, love working in a fast-paced environment, and are inspired by the opportunity to contribute to something bigger, this could be the role for you.
Role Highlights
As Executive Assistant, you’ll be a trusted partner to our General Managers, enabling them to focus on delivering key strategic outcomes by ensuring their time, information, and priorities are managed with precision and care. You’ll also play an important role in fostering collaboration across teams, acting as a key connector between leaders, stakeholders, and the broader Fremantle Ports community.
You won’t be doing this alone — you’ll join a tight-knit, supportive team of Executive Assistants who share knowledge and encouragement, working together to drive Fremantle Ports’ success.
In this diverse, hands-on role, your responsibilities will include:
Proactive management of diaries, emails, scheduling, and travel coordination.
Triaging and handling communications with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective decision-making.
Leading and coordinating strategic projects, initiatives, and research on behalf of the General Managers.
Preparing briefings, meeting agendas, and minutes, and following up to ensure action and outcomes.
Collaborating with fellow Executive Assistants to continuously enhance executive support processes.
What Makes You a Great Fit
You're more than just highly organised — you thrive in dynamic environments and approach challenges with a calm, solution-oriented mindset. You’re discreet, professional, and able to manage sensitive information with integrity. You communicate clearly and confidently and build trusted relationships with people at all levels.
You’ll also bring:
Proven experience supporting executive leaders in complex environments.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong judgement, initiative, and the ability to juggle competing priorities in high-pressure situations.
A commitment to continuous improvement and embodying our core values of Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence (CARE).
What We Offer
Join Fremantle Ports and be part of a proud organisation with a rich history and culture that makes a significant contribution to the WA economy. Primarily based in Fremantle, you’ll enjoy a unique workplace with stunning ocean views, rich heritage and striking architecture in the heart of the Victoria Quay precinct, which is currently undergoing exciting revitalisation. You’ll also enjoy variety through occasional travel to our Kwinana facilities.
Benefit from free onsite parking and access to a gymnasium, flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance, generous annual leave, access to salary packaging, professional development opportunities, and a comprehensive health and wellness program.
