Mecon Construction provides clients with a comprehensive suite of design and industrial building services. We work closely with commercial property management companies to ensure construction and maintenance are carried out to the highest standards.

We’re currently seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator to join our Earthworks team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in final trim, as well as operating excavators and loaders on large-scale commercial projects. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in construction is required, with a proven ability to work independently on large industrial construction sites.

Previous experience in the construction industry

Ensure that all work is of high quality and all industry standards are met safely

Good communications skills

Ability to work with other trades and clients

Ability to read drawings

A commitment to safety in the workplace

Ability to work autonomously and as part of team

Punctual and reliable

Availability to work outside normal hours when requested

Must have own transport with a full drivers licence
