My client is a well-established and growing player in the Australian industrial sector, specialising in hydraulic component sales, repairs, and custom solutions. With over 30 years in the industry, their expertise spans across hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, motors, and complete system design. Known for their strong reputation in service and engineering, they are now strategically expanding their product sales footprint – and that’s where you come in.

The Role

As the Business Development Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind sales growth in NSW. You’ll be responsible for:

Building and executing a growth strategy for hydraulic product sales across the state

Leveraging your contacts and industry knowledge to win new business and increase market share

Identifying strategic opportunities and partnerships

Acting as the key point of contact between clients and technical/service teams

Laying the foundation for a future team – this role is designed to evolve into a State Manager position

This is more than just a BDM role – it's a long-term leadership opportunity to build, grow, and lead.

What You'll Need

Proven experience in hydraulic product sales – this is essential

Strong industry network and market knowledge in NSW

A hunter mentality with strategic thinking skills

Ability to operate independently and make critical decisions

Passion for business development and team building

Base salary of $100K–$120K + Super

Car allowance, fuel card & toll pass
