About the Role
As the Senior Lecturer in Nursing, you will be responsible for the development, delivery, and coordination of courses within nursing undergraduate and postgraduate programs and make a significant research contribution in related areas. The position will contribute independently and as part of a team to support the University’s teaching and research outcomes and to carry out activities to maintain and develop their scholarly, research and/or professional activities.

To Be Successful You Will Need
- Bachelor of Nursing and possession of a Doctoral degree (PhD) qualification in a relevant health discipline
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a registered nurse or ability to apply and obtain
- An established and relevant portfolio of research, with evidence of securing competitive funding, publications in refereed journals and/or quality NTROs and supervision of HDR students
- Experience of course co-ordination and teaching students in undergraduate, preregistration and postgraduate nursing programs
- Academic leadership experience – e.g. program leadership, curriculum development, course design and course writing
- High level written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to positively contribute to the academic team and other key stakeholder relationships
- Continued engagement with the discipline and practice, supporting the advancement of nursing and demonstrating impact
