Purpose of the Position:
As our Customer Service Administrator, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers and a key player in supporting our storage and rug wash services. From taking bookings to managing day-to-day operations on-site, you’ll help deliver a seamless customer experience and keep things organised and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Administration:
Provide friendly, professional support for our rug wash and storage services – greet customers, offer pricing, and assist with quotes and service info.
Handle customer bookings, phone calls, and email enquiries in a prompt and helpful manner.
Coordinate access to storage units and ensure accurate tracking of unit use and availability.
Maintain tidy and well-organised storage areas with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Perform general administrative tasks including data entry, record-keeping, and office support.
Assist in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of storage and rug wash operations.
Essential Skills & Knowledge:
Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Competence using Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel).
Attention to detail and accuracy in data and record-keeping.
A proactive, team-focused attitude and willingness to jump in where needed.
Desirable Experience:
Previous experience in admin, storage, or customer service is a plus — but if you’re a fast learner with the right mindset, we’ll support you every step of the way.

About Electrodry
Over 40 years ago, Paul Burchell was working in a large accounting firm in Sydney when entrepreneurial spirit took hold and he began a business cleaning hotels. When the family moved to Newcastle, he began one of the first carpet steam cleaning companies called Monster Magic. With TV advertisements which featured Paul grinding mud into his mother-in-law’s carpets (and it really was Paul’s mother in law’s carpet) and then cleaning them, the business became well known in Newcastle and the carpet steam cleaning business took off.
