We are looking for a passionate hospitality professionals to fill the role of Assistant Restaurant Manager and /Bar Supervisor of Bistro Sociale. We are seeking people with experience in management of a Hotel Bistro or similar venue, who can work with our management teams and heads of departments, to execute professional service standards and offer quality training to our front-of-house team.

Assistant Restaurant Manager/ Bar Supervisor Location: Bistro Sociale – 6 David Street Bowral NSW, 2575

Salary: $70k+ to $85K (excluding super) per annum - based on skill and previous experience

Applicants will have:

- a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role

- sound product knowledge of food, wine, and spirits

- experience managing and training a team of 10 – 20 people

- excellent customer service skills - an eye for detail

- experience working autonomously and with a senior management team

- a positive and ambitious mindset.

Responsibilities

- Manage and run day-today-service

- Maintaining high levels of customer service and satisfaction

- Effectively delegate jobs and responsibilities to restaurant staff and supervisors

- Work with management personnel to set targets and incentives to increase turnover and profitability of restaurant trade

- Review and report on expenditures and profit

- Train and develop staff’s skills and professionalism within the front of house team

- Develop standard operating procedures and sequences of service

- Ordering of beverages/stocktake and menu engineering

- Plan, manage and execute service for key events such as Mother’s Day, Christmas, and other public holidays.
