Sydney’s most talked-about newest venue, JŌJI has opened in the CBD. JŌJI is a stunning Japanese rooftop restaurant cocktail bar open late, operating 7 days a week. We are hiring an assistant manager, supervisor and senior section waiters to join our senior team. Surrounded by the city’s vibrant energy, JŌJI offers a contemporary bar lounge experience infused with the textures of Japan, where the art of the cocktail takes centre stage alongside a unique culinary offering. As the night deepens, JŌJI comes alive with carefully curated live music and DJ line-up, offering an eclectic soundtrack that carries guests late into the night. We have a 5% Service Charge on all bills that goes back to the team, live music and most importantly plenty of hours to give with a wide range of shifts on offer to suit almost any availability.
For successful candidates, they must have the following attributes and qualifications:
Have a strong desire to create experiences for guests
Passion for hospitality with an appreciation for refined, considered approach to service
Experience in a refined cocktail bar
Possess a positive attitude
Immaculately presented
Hungry to learn and driven to excel in whatever they do
Strong product knowledge of food and beverage
Minimum 2-year experience in a similar role
As an Assistant Manager or Supervisor, some of your tasks and responsibilities are:
Manage all guest touchpoints and service standards
Assist the management team in achieving set targets
Takes an active role in generating ideas to build business
Conducts training initiatives for the team
Champions strong relationship building with all FOH & BOH staff
Able to adapt and be open to change
