The role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team at ECQ venues, a growing hospitality group in Sydney. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for supporting the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operations of our bustling restaurant in central Sydney.

What you'll be doing

Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all front-of-house operations, including staffing, customer service, and reservations

Ensure the restaurant runs efficiently and to high standards of quality and service

Effectively lead, motivate and develop the front-of-house team

Handle customer queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner

Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain menu consistency and quality

Contribute to the development of new initiatives to enhance the customer experience

What we're looking for

Minimum 1 year experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or similar role in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills

Understanding of food and beverage operations and industry regulations

Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience
