Western Landscape Supplies is offering an exciting opportunity for a Diesel Mechanic and/or Fitter at our yard located in Willawong Qld.

Our fleet consists mainly of Isuzu and Mack trucks as well as a variety of yard equipment. At WLS we try to keep the majority of our repairs in house, providing a variety of tasks including general repairs and servicing and maintenance.

About You….

The role will be reporting directly to the General Manager and you will be responsible for the servicing and maintenance of our trucks and yard equipment (eg. Forklifts and Loaders).

Responsibilities/duties will include:

Scheduling of regular fleet servicing.

Be competent in performing routine maintenance.

Performing mechanical diagnosis and communicating with drivers/operators in breakdown situations.

Ordering of parts.

Ensure the safe and efficient running of the workshop.

You Need:

Mechanical Trade qualification.

Minimum 2 years experience as a Diesel Fitter / Mechanic.

Sound knowledge of Heavy Vehicles and Equipment.

Drivers License (Minimum HR License).

You Will:

Be reliable, punctual and motivated.

Have a strong work ethic with genuine attention to detail.

Ability to work autonomously.

Excellent communication skills.

Be willing to take direction and be part of the team.
