About Them
Our client is a well-established organisation in the food manufacturing industry, supplying high-quality products to households across Australia and the globe. With a large and diverse workforce, they are embarking on a major transformation project to implement Dayforce as their new HRIS platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of a nationally significant HR systems rollout in a complex, fast-paced environment.

About the Role
As the Payroll Testing Analyst, you’ll play a critical part in testing and validating system configurations during the Dayforce implementation. This is a contract role through to July 2026, supporting system integrity, compliance and go-live readiness.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing testing of system setup, integrations, and parallel payroll runs
  • Identifying and logging defects, and working with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
  • Inputting schedules, timesheets and rosters for test scenarios and analysing results
  • Ensuring compliance with Awards, EAs and Australian payroll legislation
  • Supporting the development of training materials and user documentation
  • Providing assistance during go-live, including end-user support and troubleshooting
  • Maintaining data integrity and ensuring security compliance throughout testing
  • You’ll collaborate closely with HR, IT, external build partners and the broader HRIS implementation team.

About You
You bring proven experience in HRIS testing and a solid understanding of Australian payroll practices. You're hands-on, analytical, and confident navigating complex system rollouts.

  • Experience with Dayforce or other major HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP, SuccessFactors, ADP)
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian payroll legislation
  • A detail-oriented approach to system testing, issue tracking and resolution
  • Proficiency in Excel, data analysis tools and ideally SQL
  • An understanding of data privacy laws and system security protocols
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments is advantageous
