About the Role
As National Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for driving new business by engaging directly with end-user clients such as universities, hotels, consultants, and facility managers. Your focus will be on cold outreach and education-helping decision-makers understand the technical and compliance benefits of the company's cutting-edge solutions.
This is a national role based in Sydney, with regular travel across Australia. If you enjoy getting out from behind the desk, meeting clients face-to-face, and building relationships on the ground, this role offers the perfect mix of autonomy, variety, and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage new end-user clients across commercial, education, healthcare, and hospitality sectors
- Educate facility directors and consultants on product capabilities and compliance benefits
- Drive product demand and influence specification at early project stages
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders
- Travel nationally to meet clients, attend industry events, and build brand presence
- Collaborate with internal technical and delivery teams to ensure client success
What You Bring
- Proven success in new business development, ideally in a technical or solution-based sales environment
- Confident engaging with senior decision-makers and navigating complex sales cycles
- Experience in fire protection or building services is a bonus, but not essential
- Must be comfortable discussing technical concepts-full product and compliance training provided
- Self-starter with a go-getter mindset and strong commercial acumen
